Hey there! I'm, Hannah Draughan, an award-winning, international photographer based in north Alabama. I'm mom to a spunky, curly-haired 6 year old girl, army wife, crazy horse girl, and full time creative spirit. I invest dearly in my amazing clients who entrust their important photographs to me and take the greatest pride in seeing the joy that it gives them. LET's CONNECT
After photographing many equestrian and equine fine art sessions over the years, we’ve discovered a true passion in photographing memories that our clients can treasure forever and pass down to their children and grandchildren. We love getting to know you and your horse and creating a work of art that is worthy of gracing the walls of your home.
LOCATION
Farm sessions are a great way to incorporate your farm or home into a memorable work of art. We also offer sessions at the horse shows that we photograph during breaks - this is a great time to capture photos when horses are already bathed and clipped so they are photo ready! We travel throughout the US and also offer travel fee discounts if three or more people from the same barn/area book together.
waRDROBE STYLING
Wardrobe styling is one of the most fun parts of preparing for you session! It can also be daunting when choosing outfits for an entire family. We are prepared to give you style tips and wardrobe suggestions to help look your best!
We also have a client closet with many dresses and outfits to choose from - contact us for more information!
The SEssion
It's the day! Time for a good time with laughs and making new memories! We have a casual approach to sessions that allows everyone to relax and be themselves for very naturally posed images. You did all the prep to get ready for your session, now let us work our magic and capture some amazingly beautiful photos.
DELIVERY
Your photos will be delivered within four weeks of your session. We will schedule an online meeting for your presentation of the gallery and ordering appointment. If you are unable to meet online, we will deliver your images via an online, password protected gallery where you may view photos and order products.
KEEPSAKES
Many of our collections come with keepsakes and USB drives to store your beautiful images. These are beautiful keepsakes as well as a convenient way to share images with grandparents and relatives.
Cherished Memories
Preserving your images in print form is the most important way to pass images to your loved ones for generations. Our albums are created to last for hundreds of years and a perfect way to pass on your cherished memories. Technology is continually changing and digital files may someday be a thing of the past. Prints and albums are something your family will be thanking you for many years in the future!

tips & tricks
WHAT TO WEAR
We love the way larger patterns photograph - just be careful not to choose a pattern that is too small - it may accidentally make your photo look a little too busy.
Softer, pastel colors tend to photograph better than bright colors - especially since bright colors could reflect on your skin. We love bright, neon dresses, but we don’t love the neon reflection they add to your complexion.
Prepping your horse
Please be sure to bathe and clip your horse as if you were getting ready for a show. Hooves should be neatly trimmed and keep a towel handy to wipe off any excess dirt that may appear during the session. We will bring several "ear getters" but if you know any anything in particular that get's your horse's attention, feel free to bring it to the session!

HOW DO WE BOOK?
We are so excited to work with you! To reserve your date, we require the session fee as a non-refundable deposit. Email us at hello@hannahdraughan.com to book.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE RECEIVE?
The number of images in your gallery will be determined by the length of your session. Generally, you will receive 50+ images per hour of session.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
If rain is in the forecast, we will contact you 24 hours ahead of time to discuss alternatives or a rain date if necessary.
